Daily Update

The NY Post endorses Marc Molinaro for Governor:  Vote for reformer Marc Molinaro, not corruptocrat Andrew Cuomo.    And that isn’t the only editorial board that did so!  The Auburn Citizen:  Our view: Molinaro should be New York’s next governor.  The Daily Gazette: Molinaro is New York’s future.  And don’t forget what Crain’s NY Business had to say:  The case against Cuomo.   “The governor is smart and talented but has personality flaws and control issues that are wearing thin and hurting New York. To support his re-election would be to ensure they continue. We cannot.”  Neither should you.

Here is a NY Post comparison of County Executive Molinaro and Governor Cuomo.   Carl Campanile writes of Marc Molinaro’s plan to overhaul the “Scaffold Law.”

Jonathan Trichter and Thomas DiNapoli will debate tonight  In NYC on NY1 at 7:00 pm and on Spectrum News in the rest of New York State at 8:00 PM.  Have you seen Jonathan Trichter’s newest ad?  Watch it here

Daily Update

Cuomo has utterly failed the people of upstate New York.

Tina Moore and Bruce Golding write that Gov. Cuomo forgets FALN attacks while discussing NYC terrorism;   he didn’t forget, it just did not serve his narrative.  Does anyone know why Governor Cuomo had to be part of the press conference yesterday?  Thankfully no one was hurt and no bombs exploded , but the Governor felt the need to let the world know he was in control, and to say that he had also received a “device” which happened to be a thumb drive. Yet he never knew that his personal executive assistant was making campaign phone calls from his public office.  If you believe that, we have a bridge to sell you.

Daily Update

Did you watch the debate last evening?  If not, you can watch it here. The New York Post editorial sums it up with this:  In debate, Andrew Cuomo shifts from chicken to bully.  Bully is mild considering his constant interruptions and telling the moderator that he was speaking.  If you watch a moderate amount of TV in the evening, you cannot escape from the commercials berating bullying in school, yet, we have a governor who is the biggest bully – and proud of being a bully – in New York State.  What kind of message is this sending the children we are trying to teach that bullying is unwarranted, unjustified and undeserved?   Make the message clear on November 6:  No Bullies in the bully pulpit!  Vote for Marc Molinaro on the Conservative Line.

The NY Post reporters had this to say:  Cuomo, Molinaro come out swinging in likely only debate. and Nicole Gelinas called County Executive Molinaro a solid candidate.

Here is how Ken Lovett describes the debate:  Cuomo unleashes his inner Mike Tyson in feisty debate with GOP challenger Molinaro.    He ends his column with this “Cuomo is expected to remain New York’s leading heavyweight.”  Again, is this the image we want as Governor when we have a concerted effort to eliminate bullying?  Even Ken Lovett’s column portrays Governor Cuomo as a bully.

Daily Update

The one, and so far, only debate between Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Marc Molinaro, will be on television tonight.  Click here  to find out where you can watch it.   As the NY Post editorial writes today. “It’s about time Cuomo agreed to a debate.”

The Governor is the recipient of two NY Post editorials today, the second one, the more important of the two:  What a surprise — Another Cuomo donor gets a huge payday.

Bob McManus  also writes today that ‘Chicken’ Cuomo will keep on dodging   and has great questions that should be asked of Governor Cuomo, but we all know that Governor Cuomo will not answer them, even if he were asked.  Maybe that is why the debate is taped.

The Olean Times Herald endorses Marc Molinaro.

The Empire Center takes a hard look at the employment numbers for the last 10 years and there is only one conclusion:  the last eight years have seen a sharp and growing economic divide between upstate and downstate.  Read the report here.

Jonathan Trichter critiques Comptroller DiNapoli on lack of oversight in protecting taxpayer’s funds.

I think Larry Kudlow is more accurate on who should get the credit.   Someone should remind former President Obama that corporate tax cuts can fift all economic boats.

The Daily Signal  has a pretty sound reason as to why the immigrant caravan has grown to its current size.

Here’s what Investor’s Business Daily has to say about the growing caravan.

Daily Update

The NY Post editorial board makes their recommendations for Congressional races here

Gillibrand sheds chicken suit, agrees to ABC-TV debate.  The Gillibrand-Farley debate will air on WABC-TV and be held on Thursday, at 1:30 pm and be made available for their local political show, Up Close with Bill Ritter, and to statewide affiliates.  We will post the time on Thursday or before, if available.

Cuomo finally agrees to in-person TV debate with GOP challenger.     Gov. Andrew “chicken” Cuomo finally agreed to a TV debate that would be taped on Tuesday 1:30 p.m. in the studios of WCBS/Channel 2 and air Tuesday night at 7 p.m. on the local affiliate and on radio.  Personally, I am looking forward to how Governor Cuomo explains his “pay-to-play” schemes like this one;  of course, it has to asked and the likelihood of having it asked by the moderator is slim to none.

If the NY Post hosted the debate, you could rest assured hard questions would be pursued.  Fortunately, the NY Post exposes all that they can through their newspaper —  and hopefully, NYC voters are reading it as unlike other NYC newspapers, the NY Post doesn’t hide behind a paywall (yet!)

The Post-Star endorses Marc Molinaro for Governor!

Mayor de Blasio continues to act as if he is the King of New York City instead of being an elected official answerable to the citizens of New York City.  Mayor de Blasio still has visions of being king of the US and is lax about the daily needs of the City or worse pushes his agenda to the detriment of doing what is right, or appointing people to positions that do not seem to have the qualifications needed.

Bill Hammond and Chris Pope write that single-payer would be death on NY’s best hospitals.

If this caravan can overcome the combined efforts of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and the U.S., why can’t they overtake Honduras and make it more like America?  It isn’t about escaping conflict, generalized violence and targeted persecution – it is about free handouts from our government.  Trump says he’s reducing Central American aid over migrants; use the aid money to BUILD THE WALL!

Daily Update

‘Coward’ Cuomo still refusing to debate his GOP challenger.  Even disgraced Elliot Spitzer criticized Andrew for not agreeing to a debate as of today’s date.

The NY Post editorial  ends with this, “Maybe Cuomo is just chicken — or maybe he figures that an open debate might hurt him so badly that he could actually lose. (emphasis added.)”

Governor Andrew Cuomo perhaps you should read this:  Thank fracking for continued decreases in US greenhouse gas emissions;   then rethink your political ban on fracking.

Apparently, the fact that Andrew Cuomo doesn’t like to be confronted by things that may upset him, is a trait that his father, Mario, also had.  Kathleen Gallagher writes about the Gosnell movie and what happened way back when Mario was asked to visit an abortion mill by a fellow democrat.

Daily Update

Michael Goodwin’s column in today’s NY Post says it all:  One party rule has left New York in a sorry state.  Read it.  Circulate it.  Take it to heart.  There are only two choices for governor; Andrew Cuomo or Marc Molinaro.  No other candidate has a chance to win!  If you care one iota about the future of New York, heed Michael Goodwin’s column.  You CAN make a difference.  New York CAN become the Empire State again, but if voters allow one party rule, it will never, ever happen.

Conservatives Hear Hallelujah When Liberals Hear Yelling

Brooklyn, NY – In releasing the Conservative Party’s latest ad today, Conservative Party State Chairman, Michael R. Long, stressed the difference between civility and the current wave of progressive incivility. “Conservatives hear Hallelujah when they listen to President Donald J. Trump; they see the economy booming and they appreciate that President Trump keeps his promises. Liberals, however hear yelling and screaming, knowing that their deep swamp is being drained of government dependence.

Today’s Hallelujah ad urges those who stood with the Conservative Party and voted for President Donald J. Trump to continue to stand with the Conservative Party and vote for Marc Molinaro for Governor on the Conservative Line.

“Hallelujah”
:60 radio
FINAL

This is what a typical liberal hears when Donald Trump speaks . . .

“[Yelling and screaming over horror score]”

But this is what a conservative hears . . .

“Glory, glory hallelujah!”

If Trump infuriating his enemies is music to your ears – – and you don’t mind making the liberals scream yourself – – this November stand with President Trump.

Cast your vote on the Conservative Party line, Row C. Your vote means more on the Conservative Party line.

Almost 3 million voters across the state backed Trump for President. Maybe Andy Cuomo thinks they have nowhere to go this election.

He’s wrong.

See, the Conservative Party unapologetically backs Trump. And when you vote Marc Molinaro for Governor on the Conservative Party line, you make a statement.

This election, vote Molinaro for Governor on the Conservative Party line, Row C. Send a message that you stand with President Trump because there’s more to do to make America great again.

TRUMP: We gotta get it done!

George J. Marlin writes in Newsmax about the unhinged dems out to destroy the Electoral College that gave us Lincoln.

The fact that the movie Gosnell cracked the top 10 at the box office on Friday and Saturday, is great news for the pro-life movement in America and hopefully around the world.    This headline, however, dashes that hope; perhaps everyone on the United Nations Human Rights Council should be encouraged to see the pain, anxiety, depression and death caused by Gosnell’s abortion mill. Kathryn Jean Lopez has a compelling article in National Review that explains that the movie Gosnell is an opportunity to really take a look at not only the laws but also the culture of abortion and possibly change the minds of people like those on the United Nations Human Rights Council.

CONSERVATIVE RATINGS RELEASED Assemblyman scores a 100% rating; highest Senator scores an 85% rating

Fort Hamilton Station, NY (10/16/2018) The Conservative Party released the ratings for the 2018 Legislative Session today in order to keep the electorate knowledgeable of how their state legislators voted on 20 key bills acted upon in the current session.

The Conservative Party tracks legislation throughout the session, issues support and opposition memos, and determines, at an executive committee meeting, which key issues will be used. The
Bills considered include spending, crime, education, nanny state legislation, pro-life issues and various other topics that affect the lives of New Yorkers. “We believe that it is necessary to keep the public informed of key votes and let the taxpayers be aware of how elected officials spend our money. Every Bill is considered, and then we narrow the number to give voters a fair assessment of what transpires in Albany,” said Michael R. Long, State Chairman.

“A review of the Bills used this year will show voters how some are specious or costly and others will show how they help New Yorkers.” said Long.

Michael J. Fitzpatrick – 8th AD, scored a perfect 100%; Assemblyman Fitzpatrick has consistently been a top-rated Assemblyman. The highest ranked Senator in 2018 is Robert G. Ortt – 62nd SD with 85%.

The Senate average this year remained consistent with last year’s ratings. The overall Senate Rating is 55%, the same as last year. The conservative endorsed Senators averaged 69%, up one point from last year; the democrats averaged 41%, the same as they scored last year. The Assembly’s overall rating was 42%; up from last year’s 37%, and coincidently the same as it was in 2016. Conservative endorsed Assembly Members averaged 78% up from last year’s 74%, while the Assembly Democrats averaged 28%, up from 21% and also coincidently just shy of 2016’s 29%.

“Voters are encouraged to review the ratings and use them when considering who to vote for in the upcoming elections. Conservative fiscal policy and principles make New York business friendly and encourages entrepreneurs to open businesses here to provide jobs and keep families here in the Empire State,” Long concluded.

Marc Molinaro, our candidate for governor, appeared on Fox and Friends this morning with Diane Piagentini, the widow of Police Officer Joseph A. Piagentini, gunned down by Herman Bell  who Governor Andrew Cuomo gave the right to vote to when he was released on parole. Watch the Fox and Friends clip here.  .  Read more in The Chief.

Today’s NY Post editorial explains what Governor Andrew Cuomo fears most in this year’s political season:  open, equal debates.

In case you missed this over the weekend:  Email shows Cuomo donor contacted officials during grant process.

The Bob McManus is spot on in his Saturday Op-Ed piece:  Andrew Cuomo is on the verge of absolute power over New York.  As CPNYS noted on Saturday:  Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Only you can end Governor Cuomo’s megalomania need for absolute power:  Vote for Marc Molinaro on the Conservative Line.

Another democrat who displays the need for power is Hillary Clinton.  Can you believe that she actually said on national television that her husband did not abuse his power when president with his intern, Monica Lewinsky, because she was an adult at the time.  When will the press and the public realize this woman is unable to tell the truth about anything.  She is so out of touch with reality, that it is almost like watching a person on the verge of self-immolation and you want to rush in and save them.  Think about what she said, then realize this woman almost became president of the United States, she sees nothing wrong with what her husband did.  It doesn’t bother her that he lied under oath and questioned the meaning of is.  Or that there are many able to corroborate the facts told by others who her husband forced himself on.  I guess, since they were adults also, Hillary Clinton believes it is okay.  Twisted beliefs.  Okay for Bill, not okay for anyone else.  On second thought, let her twisted beliefs continue to be aired on national television; people have the right to know just how twisted her beliefs are.

You tube has more on the unhinged crowd.

Why did the former Attorney General of the United States stoop so low? Democrats say that there is no civility on the right, yet, at every opportunity they can, they denigrate those that dare to think differently.   And he, Holder, wants to be the next president.
