Delgado, said at National Action Network’s rally this weekend with Al Sharpton that “… there is no world where we can square going backwards in this way with our commitment as a country to progress …”  If progress is aborting the life of an innocent child about to be born, polls show he is quite mistaken.  He and his progressive compatriots are pushing for New York to become a sanctuary state for abortion and want your tax dollars to pay for travel and the abortion; they will be in for a rude awakening as medical science has changed the narrative.  (See Chairman Kassar’s statement here.)

Roe v. Wade Leak

 The New York State Conservative Party has been arguing for nearly five decades that Roe V. Wade was a short-sighted, bad legal decision. The leak of Justice Alito’s draft opinion earlier this week hints at a long-awaited reversal and a victory for those of us who respect the rights of the unborn.

I have never viewed abortion as constitutionally protected.  While the leak hints at a victory for life, we need to patiently await the final ruling.

We are on the verge of one of the most historic, impactful Supreme Court decisions of our lifetime.  I join with you in sincerely hoping that the Supreme Court does indeed do the right thing – reverse Roe V. Wade.

Albany Democrats Change Laws for Self-Benefit

Governor Kathy Hochul and her gang in the Democratic Party have no moral scruples preventing them from doing anything they need to benefit themselves.

Earlier this week, they amended long standing election law in order to do one thing—make up for Governor Hochul’s mistake when she appointed Brian Benjamin as her Lt. Governor without first thoroughly vetting the nominee.

They replaced the disgraced Benjamin on the ballot with newly anointed Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado, a Congressman from NY’s 19^th district. Congressman Delgado immediately accepted Hochul’s parachute as he, along with his team and campaign staff, knew the very popular Dutchess County Executive, Marc Molinaro, posed more than a serious threat to his incumbency.

This isn’t about left vs. right. This is about the out of touch Democratic Party in control of the state, desperately in need of a lifeline, changing laws to benefit themselves. Governor Hochul and her team were derelict in their duties to fully vet Benjamin. In return, they abused the law and used their majority in Albany to set a dangerous precedence — changing state laws in order to compensate for their incompetence.

Courts Rule Democrats Violated Constitution

 New York State Democrats tried their best to play us all for fools, but they were caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Three different courts ruled they unconstitutionally gerrymandered new district lines in their favor with the intention of stealing power from the people of New York.

“The IRC and the legislature failed to follow the procedure commanded by the State Constitution,” said New York State Court of Appeals Chief Judge DiFiore.

This is a monumental and nationally significantly win that will certainly result in more competitive Congressional and State Senate contests this fall. This decision legally validates what Conservatives, Republicans, editorial boards, and good government groups have been saying for months: the court rejected lines were right out of the Tammany Hall playbook. This is a good day for democracy in New York.

Hochul Moves to “Fix” Lt. Governor Primary

 Governor Hochul never disappoints when it comes to her self-centered approach to politics.

Her cynical attempt to remove corrupt former Lt. Governor Benjamin from the primary ballot has even turned off Democrats in the Legislature. Changing the playing field in the middle of the game is unacceptable, though not surprising as New York State Democrats are in disarray all over the state.

Hochul, if she wins her primary, will simply need to figure out how to campaign with an avowed socialist, Ana Maria Archila, or extreme progressive candidate and former far left NYC Councilmember, Diana Renya.

Try as she might, Governor Kathy Hochul can’t fool New Yorkers, but it’s not from lack of trying.

Paul Rodriguez for New York State Comptroller

 Last year’s Conservative Party candidate for NYC Comptroller is this year’s Republican/Conservative candidate for NYS Comptroller.

Paul did amazingly well in 2021 for a candidate running on just the Conservative Party line in the city. With a diverse financial background and a common-sense approach, it is no wonder he did so well.

Current State Comptroller, Democrat Tom DiNapoli, is a go along to get along incumbent with a track record of avoiding any confrontation with New York’s Governors. With New York’s culture of criminality in government, Cuomo, Hochul, and disgraced ex Lt. Governor Benjamin seem to have functioned quite well under DiNapoli’s tenure as the “taxpayer’s watchdog”.

This is why many prominent democrats are not wavering in their push to the left:  Defund police’ Democrats poised to expand power in party in 2022 midterm elections.  Soros is still funding the progressive movement and the press give them plenty of free press coverage.  This is not the time, for those of us who respect what our Founding Fathers created, to become complacent because the polls indicate a red wave is coming.
