What a great evening in Nassau County! The Party was proud to welcome Scott Turner, a member of President Trump’s Cabinet, as our special guest. The energy in the room for Bruce Blakeman and our congressional candidates was through the roof, and it was great to see so many Patriots come together as we head into the final stretch of this election season.
We were also honored to present our Ronald Reagan Journalism Award to Long Island Patriot Radio. The event was exceptionally well attended, and it was great hearing from all of our outstanding speakers. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a special success!
Early voting begins October 24th, and Election Day is right around the corner. Our candidates are working hard, our team is energized, and we are ready to fight for a brighter future for New York. We have an important opportunity this November, and we are giving it everything we have.
A few photos from the evening have already been posted and can be viewed here. Our professional photos are still being developed, and I will share the link as soon as they become available.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us and continues to stand with our Party. Let’s keep the momentum going all the way to Election Day!
Onward to Victory!
2026 Legislative Ratings
Last week, the Party released its 2026 ratings of State Senate and Assembly members, scoring each legislator on 20 votes drawn from 32 bills: eight that passed both houses, twelve Senate-only bills and twelve Assembly-only bills. The
bills cover taxes and spending, public safety, the Second Amendment, election integrity, energy mandates, property rights, parental rights and protection of life.
The Senate averaged 41.4% overall. Republicans averaged 90.9%; Democrats averaged 14.9%, down from 25.9% in 2025. The Assembly averaged 46.4%, with Republicans at 89.3% and Democrats at 27.3%. The Governor’s Mansion and both houses of the Legislature remain under Democratic control.
The Senate numbers tell the story. Thirty-six of the chamber’s 41 Democrats scored 15% or lower, and nearly all of those points came from three bills that drew support from both parties: the Veterans Bill of Rights, a measure requiring sexual-assault evidence to be held securely for 20 years, and the Protect Our Data Act. On every other rated bill, Senate Democrats voted against the Conservative position almost without exception. The highest-scoring Senate Democrat, James Skoufis, reached 25%. The lowest-scoring Senate Republican scored 75%.
Fourteen legislators earned a perfect 100% rating:
Senators:
George Borrello (57 SD), Joseph Griffo (53 SD), Thomas O’Mara (58 SD), Rob Ortt (62 SD) and Dan Stec (45 SD).
Assembly Members:
Ken Blankenbush (117 AD), Ari Brown (20 AD), David DiPietro (147 AD), Jodi Giglio (2 AD), Brian Manktelow (130 AD), Matt Simpson (114 AD), (Joe Sempolinski (148 AD), Robert Smullen (118 AD) and Chris Tague (102 AD).
