This time of year brings people together. Families gather, kids hunt for eggs, and there are plenty of chocolate bunnies, but Easter means something more than just the season. It is a time to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the message it carries for all of us. A message of sacrifice, forgiveness, and the hope that faith provides, even in difficult times.
When we say, “He is risen,” we are not just repeating a phrase. We are reminding ourselves that hope is real and that no matter how dark things may seem, renewal is always possible. As the Bible tells us, “He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” Those words still carry meaning today. They remind us that truth, faith, and goodness endure, and they call on us to live with purpose, stand firm in our beliefs, and treat others with respect.
Easter reminds us that we are never without hope. It challenges us to be better, to stay strong in our values, and to work toward a better future for our families, our communities, and our state.
