“The decision to try to rig this year’s NY-11 race came as no surprise. It was made by a former staff member of Governor Hochul who had an ethical obligation to recuse himself from the case and didn’t. Mrs. Hochul is doing this even though she signed the law creating the existing lines. We are confident that through the appeals process and federal jurisprudence the district will remain the same in the end.”
