“But Governor Kathy Hochul and the Democrat-controlled New York State Legislature don’t want fair and equitable congressional races in New York. They want a cynical leg up in every contest possible, and their rejection today of the Independent Redistricting Commission lines speaks volumes about their ethics and intentions. This is politics as usual in Albany, and New Yorkers voters should be outraged.”
