The Conservative Party is supporting Robert Smullen for Congress in the 21st Congressional District, which encompasses many counties in Northern New York. This is the seat that has been vacated by our good friend, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
Bob has been an outstanding member of the State Assembly, with an average Conservative Party rating of almost 90% — one of the highest in the Assembly.
He is a retired, battle-tested, decorated Marine colonel with a business background and a successful career in government.
There are over 9,000 registered Conservatives in the district, with the Party averaging more than 20,000 votes for Congress each November. Bob, who is in a Republican primary, has received the support of the State GOP and most of the Republican organizations in the 15-county district.
In addition, countless local elected officials and almost the entire State GOP congressional delegation are supporting Bob’s election.
The race is receiving extensive media coverage, so a Google search will provide many results.

We are less than a week away from the New York State Conservative Party’s 2026 Summer Dinner on May 21, at The Union League Club in New York City!
This is always one of the most important and energizing events of the year, bringing together leaders and supporters from across the state. This year is especially meaningful as we honor our very own Lee Zeldin as the recipient of the 4th Annual Michael R. Long Award.
We’ll also be celebrating and supporting our statewide ticket, including Bruce Blakeman, Todd Hood, Saritha Komatireddy, and Joseph Hernandez. These are the leaders who are stepping up to fight for our values, restore common sense, and deliver results for New Yorkers.
The evening will include a VIP reception at 5:30 pm, general reception at 6:00 pm, and dinner from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Business attire is required, and the event will be held at The Union League Club, located at 38 East 37th Street in Manhattan.
Events like this are critical to building momentum and ensuring we have the resources to win.
Governor Kathy Hochul and Mayor Zohran Mamdani have pushed a budget that shifts New York City’s financial problems onto taxpayers across the entire state. New York City’s growing deficit and dependence on Albany for support will force working families and businesses statewide to shoulder the burden through higher taxes, reduced state resources, and future budget cuts. The $4 billion taxpayer-funded bailout secured for New York City rewards reckless spending and sets a dangerous precedent where upstate and suburban taxpayers are expected to rescue the city from fiscal mismanagement.
If that wasn’t bad enough, they have been dipping into Government employee pension funds to help close the deficit. Relying on temporary fixes and deferred obligations today will deepen long-term financial instability and negatively impact schools, infrastructure, public safety, and economic growth across all of New York State. That is why New Yorkers need to elect Bruce Blakeman for Governor. Our state depends on it.
