Chairman Kassar’s Weekly Wrap Up 1/24 – Dems Scheme, CPPAC Announcement, Hochul’s Disastrous Budget

DEMOCRATS MOVE TO RIG AN ELECTION

What does Governor Hochul and her band of election rigging judges and legislators do when they cannot beat conservative Republicans at the ballot box? They change the game altogether by changing the lines of the district.

That is exactly what the Democratic Party is attempting in NY-11. A district approved by the Democratic governor and Democratic legislature, containing all of Staten Island and a good deal of southern Brooklyn.

This would be the party’s third reapportionment attempt in the past four years to flip this district Democratic. The incumbent Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis took the seat originally from a Democratic incumbent and has held it with landslide numbers ever since.

The district was properly constructed, approved with an election held, and used an independent special master. It was signed into law by Governor Hochul herself, who now shamelessly wants a redo. The 11th Congressional District needs to remain the same. The Conservative Party fully supports the appeals and legal actions focused on overturning this highly partisan decision. Hochul’s Disastrous Budget

Governor Kathy Hochul blew a lot of smoke at New Yorkers during her budget address in Albany today, but the chart below reflects the reality of her tenure as New York’s liberal chief executive. In just a few short years, Mrs. Hochul has ballooned our state budget by nearly 40%. Now, she has the audacity to talk about ‘affordability’, as though she and her progressive colleagues aren’t the ones responsible for driving more than a million New Yorkers to other states.

The data doesn’t lie. New York is unaffordable because Kathy Hochul continues to make it that way.  Her monstrous new state budget proposal is par for the course. It will continue New York’s long, slow decline into mediocrity and unaffordability. She needs to go.
