Congressman Mike Lawler’s Re-Election Decision

Mike Lawler’s principled decision to run for re-election rather than for governor shows his commitment to creating a united Republican-Conservative team. By forgoing a potential gubernatorial run, Congressman Lawler has prioritized the collective good of New York and the nation. Lawler’s decision is a foundational step in building a united Republican-Conservative team to challenge Governor Kathy Hochul.

By choosing to run for re-election in a congressional district that is crucial to Republicans keeping the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Lawler gives the Republican-Conservative team the best chance at holding his seat and ensures that a costly and divisive primary for governor is avoided. Lawler’s decision puts the needs of New York and the nation first and creates the strongest possible opportunity for change in Albany.

Congressman Lawler’s dedication to his district and his role in Washington is a testament to his understanding of what is at stake in our nation. He has proven once again that he is a leader for today and a leader for tomorrow. While his trajectory is limitless, his focus remains on the ground, serving the people he represents and working toward a better future for his district and country. Lawler is a leader who puts public service before self-interest, and his decision will benefit New Yorkers and Americans alike. Read our full press release here:

Tulsi Gabbard Exposes Obama Administration’s Corruption

In a political landscape that is often defined by conformity, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has shined light on one of the most serious abuses of power in modern American history. Her analysis of the plot against Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign reveals a truth that many in the political and media establishment have spent years trying to conceal. There is no question that a “soft coup” was initiated from within the highest levels of the Obama administration.

Taking privately funded opposition research and presenting it as legitimate intelligence to illegally spy on the campaign of a rival political party is disgraceful. This was not some mistake or simple overreach, it was a brazen, calculated effort to subvert the will of the voters. The architects of this scheme sought to entrap a presidential candidate, and when they didn’t succeed, they worked to delegitimize his presidency from day one. They betrayed their oaths and the trust of the nation to protect their own power.

Gabbard’s findings are not just a political critique; they are a vital defense of American democracy itself. Her findings provide an essential service: exposing the rot within the system and championing the cause of equal justice against those who believe they are above the law.

Putting an End to Taxpayer-Funded Public Broadcasting

The taxpayer-funded gravy train for partisan hacks is finally coming to an end. Every year, hundreds of millions of your dollars are funneled to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which in turn hands your money to PBS and NPR. The result is that you, the American taxpayer, are forced to subsidize media outlets that often mock your values, dismiss your concerns, and push a relentlessly one-sided left-wing political narrative.

If PBS and NPR have programming that is so essential to the people, then they can fund it with the support of their listeners and viewers. Taxpayer money should not be the lifeline for any nonprofit, especially not ones with a clear political agenda.

Neither PBS nor NPR is going out of business. They are media behemoths with massive corporate underwriting that can keep them afloat without your tax dollars. While some small, niche shows might disappear, if a program cannot survive without being artificially propped up by the government, then it shouldn’t be on the air. Forcing taxpayers to fund these stations is an insult to every American.

The President promised to challenge the interests that see your wallet as their personal slush fund. That promise was kept, and these large media entities will now have to become truly independent and rely on their viewers and donors, rather than on federal handouts.
