Weekly Wrap-Up from Chairman Jerry Kassar

Welcome to the Conservative Party’s Weekly Wrap-Up for June 7, 2019!

Democrats in the state continue to drag the empire state down the road to lawlessness.  The Democratic Majority is pushing legislation forward in the state Senate  that would officially make New York a sanctuary state. This accompanies Cuomo’s successful push for state-subsidized legal services provided to illegals to prevent ICE from enforcing the law. Another one of Cuomo’s top priorities for the year is to give drivers licenses to illegals as well.

“While the federal government continues to threaten our immigrant communities, New York will not stop fighting to protect the rights of new Americans,” Governor Cuomo said.

Unpopular New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is running for President despite the chance that he has a snowball’s chance in Hades of actually winning. The far-left radical’s vanity run is costing his city a great deal of funds, as he neglects his real job to travel and conduct interviews.

Reporters have noted that de Blasio is traveling with New York Police Department (NYPD) security detail during campaign stops. Civil rights attorney Norman Siegel is filing Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests because de Blasio is being tight-lipped about how much his ambitions are costing his city.

“It’s a very, very small amount of money,” the mayor said. “But, again, anything about how security is provided should go to the NYPD.”

The NYPD is not responding to requests about the figures either, but considering how de Blasio is doing in his role as Mayor, the costs may be a small price to pay to keep the nanny-state bureaucrat from further screwing up NYC.

By the time de Blasio is finished with New York City, the residents may be begging him to go to Iowa, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Michigan, or anywhere else no matter the cost!

Mayoral spokesperson Freddi Goldstein revealed de Blasio’s agenda for the year and it is a progressive nightmare including dope legalization, rent controls, ending the Specialized High School Admission Test (SHSAT) for the purposes of diversity and inclusion, more handouts for minority- and women-owned businesses, repealing Section 50-a of the state Civil Rights law to put law enforcement under further attack, and letting more criminals back on the streets.

“There’s a lot going on in the final weeks here of the legislative session… What they’ve achieved already this year has been remarkable, it’s been historic. A lot more is going to happen over the next few weeks. This is going to be judged as one of the great legislative sessions in many decades,” de Blasio said on Monday afternoon to reporters.
