The Las Vegas Review Journal editorial headline nails Hillary! EDITORIAL: Mrs. Clinton now plays dumb. Here is just part of what they have to say about Hillary: “So now the seasoned stateswoman of media lore offers up the “I didn’t know what I was doing” defense. Instead of “smart” and “savvy,” the word “pathological” comes to mind. “To the public, she claims to be a sharp professional who knows the score,” the Wall Street Journal opined over the weekend. “To the FBI, she presents herself as a clueless grandee who left the details to her minions. Either way, she’s lying to someone. But that, of course, should come as no surprise.”
How long will American citizens be fooled by this woman, or worse, not see a problem? The National Review’s David French opines in his column, Even if You Believe the Left’s Excuses, Hillary Clinton Still Violated Criminal Law, “In other words, even if you believe the explanations and rationalizations of a known liar — as Drum apparently does — the undisputed, known facts still point to criminal wrongdoing. Hillary Clinton had classified information on her homebrew server. She sent it. She received it. She kept it. On this point, it doesn’t matter if she maintained that server for convenience or to evade FOIA. It doesn’t matter if records were wiped through a mistake or to evade a subpoena. Her behavior contains the elements of a federal crime, yet she is escaping prosecution entirely. It must feel good to be a Clinton.”
William McGurn, writes in the Wall Street Journal (subscription required) that even worse than the revelations in Friday’s FBI dump (on a long holiday weekend, no less) is that “… when the American people finally learned about Mrs. Clinton’s use of private email for public business, it wasn’t because of a functioning civil service. It was because of a hacker.”
