Just yesterday, New York City hosted the latest Democratic mayoral debate, and it was nothing short of a master class in political stupidity. The leading candidate? None other than Andrew Cuomo, the disgraced former governor whose deadly nursing home scandal still haunts thousands of grieving families. He faced well-deserved, relentless attacks over his cover-ups and failures during COVID-19, and yet somehow, he remains at the top of the Democratic field. That alone speaks volumes about the current state of the New York Democrat Party.
But it gets worse. The only other candidate polling anywhere near Cuomo is Zohran Mamdani, an admitted socialist who has proudly aligned himself with some of the most extreme, anti-American, and antisemitic voices in politics today. Mamdani has repeatedly cozied up to Hamas sympathizers, demonized Israel, and refused to denounce the vile antisemitism plaguing our college campuses and city streets. This is the best the Democratic Party has to offer? It comes to no shock that the Working Families Party, aka the Party of defunding the police, has their supporters ranking Zohran #1.
The debate didn’t offer any real solutions. Just empty rhetoric and a race to see who could pander harder to the far-left fringe. New Yorkers deserve better than this.
Welcome to Summer Reception
Please join us on Wednesday, June 18th for the New York State Conservative Party’s 2025 Welcome to Summer Dinner, held at the beautiful and historic Union League Club in New York City. This year, we are proud to honor Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership and a close friend of the late Chairman Mike Long, with the 3rd Annual Michael R. Long Award.
Mike would be proud to see Elise recognized for her principled leadership and tireless service. Conservative activists, elected officials, Party leaders, NY Congressional members, and members of the Trump administration will be in attendance for what promises to be a memorable evening. A special VIP event will begin at 5:30 PM, followed by our official reception at 6:00 PM and dinner at 7:00 PM. Get your tickets today here:
The Radical Left Attacks Farmers
Two far-left NYC legislators recently introduced a bill targeting New York’s farm industry, proving once again how dangerously out of touch the radical left is with working class people. These lawmakers have no understanding of rural life or economic realities. You can read the bill here. In short, this bill would limit the amount of cattle and stop the growth of our great farmers. As well as many other regulations to hinder an already tough business. It would be the end of some farmers, and certainly a gut punch to the rest. Agriculture remains one of New York’s largest industries, from apples and dairy to vegetables and yogurt. We stopped their attack on our farmers this time thanks to your voices, but we must remain vigilant. Specifically, I wanted to thank Assemblyman Chris Tague for his relentless effort on this issue and for always defending our farmers. The Conservative Party will always stick up for our farmers, remember, no farms, no food.
Fight Against Anti-Semitism
Speaking of radical leftists, NYC Democrats continue to be tainted with anti-semitism, and they are welcoming it with open arms. For years now pro-hamas radicals have been terrorizing our city, Jews, and destroying college campuses. Whether it’s backing anti-Israel mobs or turning a blind eye to Hamas sympathizers, their extremism knows no bounds. Thankfully, something is being done about it on a federal level.
You can read our full press release on antisemitism here, including our thanks to President Trump for leading the fight against these radical ideologues.
