I had the opportunity to join our Director of Operations and many Party leaders at President Trump’s law enforcement event in Nassau County. What better place to reaffirm our commitment to backing the blue than Nassau County, the safest county in America. President Trump gave Bruce Blakeman several well-deserved shoutouts and highlighted his record on public safety and the initiatives he has implemented in Nassau County.
Our candidates for Congress also represented the Party extremely well. Mike LePetri hit it out of the park, making the point that as Republicans and Conservatives in a blue state, we are here, we are fighting, and we are ready to save New York. Jeanine Driscoll, our candidate for NY-4, also did an outstanding job talking about the issues Governor Hochul and the Democrats have created. Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Congressman Nick LaLota, and Congressman Garbarino were also in attendance standing side by side with our President. It was a great day for our candidates and a strong reminder that we have a deep bench of conservatives ready to fight for New York. Siena Poll Shows a Vulnerable Hochul
The latest Siena poll continues to show Bruce Blakeman as a serious contender in the Governor’s race, but perhaps more importantly, it highlights the vulnerabilities facing Kathy Hochul. Voters remain deeply concerned about the issues that affect them every day, including the cost of living, affordability, crime and the overall direction of New York. These concerns are particularly important among independent voters, who will arguably decide the November Election. The numbers make clear that there is an opportunity to make this election a referendum on Hochul’s record and the direction she has taken New York. Check out the Poll here:
New York City Tax and Rent Policies Face Legal Challenges
New York City’s latest tax and housing policies are also facing significant legal challenges. A judge has placed a hold on the city’s proposed tax targeting out-of-town property owners, while a separate lawsuit is challenging the city’s rent freeze. These cases are yet another example of the legal and economic questions surrounding policies being pushed by the Mamdani administration. New Yorkers deserve policies that protect property rights and that make the city more affordable, not policies that continue to drive people and investment away.
