Last night, the NYS Conservative Party held our Annual Fall Reception at the beautiful Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle and what a tremendous success it was! We’re deeply grateful to everyone who came out to show their support, from our dedicated members and grassroots activists to the many legislators, candidates, and dignitaries who joined us.
A special thank you goes out to our keynote speaker, Senator Ted Cruz, who traveled all the way from Texas to be with us. Senator Cruz delivered a powerful and passionate address that reminded everyone in attendance why the fight for conservative principles matters now more than ever. His insights on defending liberty, reigning in federal overreach, and not surrendering to one-party rule resonated deeply with our audience. His energy and conviction were an inspiration, and the perfect call to action as we head into election week.
We were also honored to present the Ronald Reagan Journalism Award to Joe Piscopo, whose decades-long career in entertainment and media have made him one of America’s most recognizable voices. Joe’s unwavering patriotism, humor, and commitment to speaking truth, even when it’s not popular, embody the very spirit of President Reagan. His remarks were heartfelt and uplifting, blending with wisdom in a way that left the entire room smiling.
We were thrilled to also welcome Congressman Mike Lawler as a special guest, whose leadership and dedication continue to make a real difference for New Yorkers and for our conservative cause statewide.
The energy, enthusiasm, and unity on display last night were truly remarkable; the perfect way to kick off election week. Together, we’re building momentum, strengthening our movement, and standing up for the values that make New York and America great. A photo album and video of the event will be available in the coming days.
Early Voting Begins Today!
New Yorkers: early voting begins today, October 25th, and runs through Sunday, November 2nd. Please note there is no voting on Monday, November 3rd, so your last chance to cast your ballot will be on General Election Day, Tuesday, November 4th.
The Conservative Party strongly encourages all our members, supporters, and friends to make a plan and vote EARLY — on the Conservative line! Early voting is safe, secure, and effective, and with Democrats turning out in full force, it’s up to us to exceed their enthusiasm.
Don’t wait, bring a friend, a neighbor, or a family member to the polls. Volunteer for your local candidates, knock on doors, make phone calls, and remind everyone you know that local elections matter now more than ever. Every vote counts, and your effort makes a difference.
To find your early voting location, click here and remember, during early voting, you can cast your ballot at any polling site within your county outside of NYC.
Let’s show New York what real conservative energy looks like. Vote early. Vote Conservative!
One Vote
I can’t stress this enough, you need to go vote. Every single vote matters. Time and time again, history has shown us that one person’s choice can change the course of our nation. We all like to think our vote is just one among millions, but it only takes one vote to shape history and it’s happened more than once. Some examples:
In 1800, one vote made Thomas Jefferson president instead of Aaron Burr. In 1850, one vote admitted California and Oregon into the United States. In 1868, one vote saved President Andrew Johnson from impeachment. In 1876, one vote made Rutherford B. Hayes president — and one vote elected the Indiana Electoral College member who voted for him. In 1910, one vote decided a Congressional election in New York. And in 1920, one vote in the Tennessee legislature ratified the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote. Even in 1941, one vote kept the military draft operational — just weeks before Pearl Harbor.
So don’t ever think your vote doesn’t matter. It’s your voice, your power, and your chance to make a difference. Be that one vote.
Attention NYC Voters!
When you go to vote, don’t forget to flip your ballot over, the back side includes city‐proposals that every voter should review. The NYS Conservative Party encourages all our members and supporters to vote NO on all city proposals. Be sure to consider them carefully, and make your plan to vote early or on Election Day.
