Chairman Kassar’s Weekly Wrap Up 6/27/25

2025 Primary Elections Update

The Conservative Party, along with our endorsed candidates and County Committees across New York State, worked tirelessly this Primary season to put forward strong, principled leaders committed to Saving Our State. We’re proud to highlight three registered Conservatives and members of Party leadership in their key Primary victories. Until November, I will be highlighting a few candidates a week, all from around the state, so you can better understand our great candidates.

First, congratulations to Greg Grizopoulos, Chair of the Conservative Party in the Town of Huntington, on his Republican Primary victory this Tuesday for Huntington Town Council! Greg’s dedication to conservative values and his local community was beyond evident throughout his campaign. If you’ve ever been to a State Conservative Party event, you have probably met Greg. He will always show up, put the work in, and support the values that we fight for everyday. We are proud to stand firmly behind him as we head into the General Election. You can learn more about Greg and his platform by visiting his website and social media:

We also extend our congratulations to Aaron Martin, former Broome County Conservative Party Chairman, for winning the GOP Primary for County Clerk. Aaron’s leadership and experience makes him the perfect candidate for the general election. Aaron has long served in various governmental roles, and has been a major resource to Conservatives in Broome County. Aaron and his volunteers knocked on thousands of doors for this Primary election. It shows how much organic support he has for the role. I am truly proud to support Aaron, and I think Broome County residents will agree in November! You can find more information about his campaign here:

Lastly, congratulations to Walter Roothe, who ran a successful Republican and Conservative Party Primary for Hamburg Judge in Erie County. This was a major victory and the Erie County Conservative Party was happy to play an important role. Onto November!

Support Our Great Candidates

These victories are significant, but our work is far from finished. With the General Election approaching on November 4th, we need your support more than ever. Please consider getting involved, whether by attending campaign events, donating, knocking on doors, or making phone calls. Every effort helps. The Democrats will be coming full force, and our candidates need the back up.

You’ll find Conservative Party-endorsed candidates on Line C throughout the state. Let’s continue building this momentum by supporting our full slate of candidates in every way we can. Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing more information soon about all of our statewide candidates and the road ahead. Together, we can make a difference.

There is always something going on at the State, and local levels. Please visit our website events page for opportunities around the state to get involved. All of our County Chairmen are posted on our website and available to help the cause. We will remain active on all fronts, but we need your help. I know times are not easy, but by simply joining our $10 club monthly, it will make a tangible difference in our efforts. If you cannot donate, we would still appreciate your support sharing our social media, podcasts, press releases, news updates, etc. Thank you and God bless!

A big thank you as well to Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Congressman Mike Lawler, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Senate Republican Leader Rob Ortt, Assembly Republican Leader Will Barclay, and all the incredible supporters and dignitaries who joined us.
