Governor Kathy Hochul’s speech on Tuesday was a cynical farce. She has made life in New York more unaffordable than ever, and her State of the State sophistry guarantees it’s going to get worse in 2026. Her feel-good proposals are unaffordable and unsustainable and will only result in even deeper New York State deficits.
Mrs. Hochul is being fundamentally dishonest: She’s spreading the lie that she won’t raise taxes on New Yorkers again –just as she plans to hike the financial burden on millions of us through higher taxes, fees, congestion price hikes, tolls, energy add-ons, etc.
The Governor’s disastrous energy policies are being especially felt right now by every homeowner and landlord in the state. Her policies are literally making seniors choose between heat and food.
This is an extremely weak governor incapable of standing up to left-wing radicals taking over the Democrat Party in New York State. Mrs. Hochul’s economic prescriptions are exactly wrong for a state whose economy has been atrophying for a generation. She continues to do damage as governor.
The Conservative Party prays for wisdom in the voting booth this November. New York is headed nowhere. It is a non-competitive tax hell. The time to turn this state around, by electing conservative Bruce Blakeman governor, is now.
Stand with Law Enforcement
I’m sure many of you have seen the ICE protests unfolding in Minnesota, as well as similar factions here in New York and around the Country.
Since ICE began enforcing federal law as required, assaults on agents have skyrocketed. Our officers are now forced to wear masks, not to intimidate, but to protect themselves and their families from doxing, threats, and harassment by radical leftists. This danger only increases when prominent Democratic leaders demonize law enforcement and use reckless rhetoric that fuels hostility and violence. Like calling ICE agents the “Gestapo”- Former VP candidate Tim Walz.
Federal officers are being deliberately obstructed in the execution of lawful investigations. Roads are being blocked, police equipment stolen, vehicles damaged, and operations disrupted. These professional agitators are even seen flooding streets and sidewalks with water to cause our agents to slip and fall. These actions are not “peaceful protest.” They are crimes, coordinated, intentional, and meant to undermine the rule of law. Time and again, these movements reveal organization and funding far beyond grassroots activism. Do not be fooled.
We pray for the safety of our officers, and we stand unapologetically with those who put their lives on the line to enforce the law. The Conservative Party will always back law enforcement.
Here in New York, will Hochul and Mamdani continue refusing to cooperate with ICE and enforce federal law? All signs point to yes. That is exactly why this election matters, and why we must do everything possible to turn out the vote this year.
Join Us in Albany for the 58th Annual CPPAC!
February 1-2, 2026, Albany, NY
At this year’s CPPAC, we’ll be offering a showing of “Inmate 090198”. It’s a short documentary about Conservative Party State Vice Chairman Jason McGuire and his experience being targeted by a weaponized government. McGuire, a onetime pastor, was unfairly subjected to investigation and prosecution by New York Attorney General Letitia James. To add insult to injury, McGuire’s reputation was smeared in the media as well. After pleading guilty to misdemeanors to avoid the astronomical cost of a trial, McGuire was sentenced to a number of weekends in the Livingston County Jail. Inmate 090198 reveals how government power can be weaponized against law-abiding individuals solely because of their beliefs.
With the conference just weeks away, now is the perfect time to get your tickets! We look forward to seeing you in Albany!Register today at: CPPAC26.RSVPify.com
