Conservative Party Calls for UN to Leave NYC

A few days ago, the New York State Conservative Party called on the United Nations to relocate its headquarters outside of the U.S., citing the institution’s decline from a once-hopeful postwar body into what Party leaders describe as a “bureaucratic shell hostile to America and its values.”

New Yorkers once took pride that our city hosted the United Nations. It was a symbol of hope after World War II, and it gave New York a special distinction as the ‘Capital of the World.’ Sadly, the institution has since devolved into a body dominated by anti-American, anti-Semitic, career bureaucrats. It is no longer a source of pride but of embarrassment.

I pointed to decades of complaints about UN diplomats routinely ignoring New York City’s traffic and parking laws, undermining the rule of law in the very city that hosts them. The UN has long treated New York with contempt, even as we house and protect it. The brazen disregard its diplomats show toward the laws of our city is symbolic of the organization’s larger failings.

The Party also noted the immense value of the East River real estate where the UN complex sits, which is priceless. New Yorkers would be far better served by a public park with a water view than by continuing to subsidize an institution that works against the interests of our nation and our allies.

The time has come for the United Nations to find a new home — if any country would be willing to accept a body that has morally deteriorated to the point of uselessness. New York has been more than generous for nearly eight decades. It’s someone else’s turn. Read the full press release here.

Patriots Podium Featuring Marc Wheat

We’re excited to bring you a special episode of Patriots Podium featuring Marc Wheat, General Counsel of Advancing American Freedom (AAF), an organization founded by former Vice President Mike Pence. AAF is dedicated to promoting and defending conservative principles, protecting our constitutional rights, and ensuring that America remains a leader on the world stage.

Marc has an extensive background in public policy and government, having served in senior legislative and policy roles in the U.S. House of Representatives and the State Department. His experience and insight make him a highly respected voice on political challenges facing conservatives today.

In this episode, we dive into some of the most pressing issues of our time. We discuss AAF’s critical work in litigation and advocacy, including protecting parental rights, pushing back against radical gender ideology, and defending free speech on college campuses. We also explore key constitutional battles such as religious liberty, the right to life, and the Second Amendment, including the recent NRA v. Vullo case in New York.

This is a thoughtful and informative conversation that highlights how AAF is taking action to stand up for conservative values and push back against government overreach. It’s an important episode for anyone who cares about safeguarding our freedoms and ensuring a stronger future for America. Tune in and listen on any of the links below!

New Jersey, Vote for Ciattarelli

I want to speak directly to all New Yorkers who have friends and family in New Jersey: this race for Governor is razor thin, and the future of our state is on the line. Jack Ciattarelli is fighting to bring common sense back, to cut taxes, make our communities safer, and restore accountability in government. Winning this race would not only change the course of New Jersey, it would send a message across the country that we reject the failed policies of the Democrats.

Jack’s opponent, Mikie Sherrill, has already shown why she cannot be trusted to lead. Her Navy career was clouded by cheating allegations so serious she wasn’t even allowed to walk at her graduation. That’s not the kind of character or leadership we need at the top in New Jersey. We deserve better.

This is our chance to choose a governor who represents integrity, hard work, and real solutions. The polls show this is neck and neck, which means the outcome will be decided by people like you. New Jersey has a clear choice, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Get your New Jersey friends to vote!
