Talk about stirring the pot, what is Governor Cuomo talking about when he says “Start with me” regarding deporting immigrants.  Really, Governor Cuomo, how downright reprehensible to compare American citizens born here to those who enter our country illegally.  Do you lock your door at night or do you leave it open for anyone to come in your home?  (Of course, you don’t have to worry about locking your door since you have the constant presence of your taxpayer funded state police detail give you protection; ordinary citizens do not have that luxury.) My grandparents emigrated to America, as did yours, legally.  That is all we ask, that anyone who wants to live in America, to do so legally, by knocking on the front door and asking to come into our home.  Governor, identity politics, the politics that drives you, is reprehensible.

NY City increases its budget by $1.7B over last year’s budget and overall by 22% since de Blasio has been Mayor.  The Mayor and members of the City Council applauded themselves on the increased spending, while over-taxed middle-class families worry how they can sustain the constant increases in taxes to pay for all the new and expanded handouts.

Governor Cuomo thinks he is already president of the United States as he bullies private health insurance companies by telling them if they withdraw from the Obamacare Health Exchanges they will not be allowed to participate in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Plan.  He will also require them to provide the 10 essential “health benefits” required by Obamacare…all of this bluster prior to knowing what the final revised bill will contain.  Some believe that Gov. Cuomo’s plan would bring more uncertainty to NY Insurers.  Meanwhile, Obamacare continues to fail.

Malliotakis calls for de Blasio to drop out of Puerto Rican Day Parade.  “I think it’s completely outrageous that we have a mayor and a Council speaker who think it’s appropriate to not only attend, but to march alongside the leader of the organization that claimed responsibility for these attacks on our city,” said Malliotakis, a member of the state Assembly.   Did you know that Staten Island Borough President, James Oddo endorsed Nicole’s run for Mayor?  And today, former candidate for NYC Mayor, Joe Lhota, also endorsed the Assemblywoman.

Michael Goodwin is blunt in his assessment of today’s democrats.   Goodwin reminds me of one of former President Ronald Reagan’s famous quotes, “I didn’t leave the Democratic party, the Democratic Party left me.,” and that was long before (1962) the democrats in leadership positions  today find it necessary to honor a convicted terrorist

We hope you all had a safe and uplifting Memorial Day and had the chance to partake in Memorial Day festivities.  Thank you to all our veterans, those who gave their all, those who are still giving and future veterans who will take up the cause of freedom…we pray for you and your families

Chris Pope writes in National Review online about the single-payer mirage an excellent article that everyone who support single-payer health care should read, including elected officials. California is shocked as to the cost of this progressive dream, taxpayer nightmare.

We used to be deplorable, now we are crazy!  Hillary, let it go, you failed, you lost because of things you did, just let it go and try to be a good grandmother, not a bitter curmudgeon.

Late Friday night, Governor Cuomo came to his senses and decided he would not march in the Puerto Rican Day Parade.  Certainly, took him long enough to decide and to be honest, he most likely thought it was a safe bet since so many others had already withdrawn.  The extremism of Speaker Mark-Viverito is obvious with her support of a convicted terrorist.   It even spills over to the woman Mark-Viverito has endorsed to replace her in the City Council since she is term-limited out this coming January.

The Governor was right to reject marching in the Puerto Rican Day Parade, however, the NaturalizeNYprogram he started, has total disdain of the taxpayers forced to pay for it.  If one cannot afford the $725 application fee to become a citizen, one can register for a lottery drawing to be awarded the fee.

The $10M set aside becomes even more distressing when New York’s fiscal picture has become murkier in light of the fact that tax receipts were $601 less than projected.

The NYS Court of Appeals has a life-saving opportunity today as it hears the appeal of Meyer v. Daily Update

Oh Melissa, did you think no one would remember this:  Melissa Mark-Viverito’s parade hypocrisy. The NY Post editorial board wants to know if Gov. Cuomo will march to honor a terrorist?  All New Yorkers want to know if the man who craves to be president will march to honor the co-founder and bomb maker of FALN

And so, it begins again: State acquires 6000 acres of protected land in Oswego County.  In 1973, the state began acquiring land in the Adirondacks under Governor Rockefeller.  Take a look at the changes over the years.  The Adirondack Council wants even more control.

The Observer reminds us that Mayor de Blasio either has an incompetent staff or he is hoping that we forget he vowed he would provide a list of donors who didn’t get city favors.  The Mayor has a solution to the parking mess he created, and your tax dollars will be used to hire 100 more traffic enforcers.  (City employees, great pension, and benefits, indebted to him for a job, could that have been his plan all along.)  Here is what the editorial board of the NY Post thinks of his shenanigans.

Grover Norquist: CBO Is ‘Guessing’ on AHCA Analysis.  The Daily Signal writes about the key takeaways of the CBO Score.  And Guy Benson does a fact check debunking the most outrageous claims made by the main stream media.. By the way:  It’s Failing: Obamacare Premiums on Federal Exchange Have Soared By 105 Percent Since 2013.  It’s fact, not fake: Americans crushed by ObamaCare premiums.

On the Trump budget proposal:  Dems blast budget cuts, conservatives give thumbs-up.  Investor’s Business Daily has this to say about President Trump’s budget proposal.

From the Daily Signal:  Trump is Not Pro-Russia, Despite what the media says

Where is the main stream media on the fact that President Obama allowed this and this?  Obviously, it does not fit their narrative; the privacy and safety of Americans is secondary to their agenda of protecting the legacy of Barack Obama.

Congressman, is this why you went to Congress?  We thought you just wanted to fight for your constituents.
