Conservatives Appoint Interim Chairmen

Ft. Hamilton Station, NY - At a recent State Executive Committee meeting of the New York State Conservative Party, the members enthusiastically appointed two new Interim County Chairmen.

In Madison County, the Committee appointed John Mulhall, born in Elmira and raised in Schuyler County.  After graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy ~ while there Mr. Mulhall was active in the 1994 Campaign to elect George E. Pataki ~ John worked in Rochester, Syracuse and Cazenovia, where he has settled with his wife, Corinne.  Mr. Mulhall brings his knowledge of New York State and his desire to incorporate his strong traditional values by building the Madison County Conservative Party and giving voters in Madison County a venue to express their conservative voice at the polling booths.

In Schoharie County, the Committee appointed Bill Hanson, a life long native of Schoharie County and the proprietor of the Mill Farm Flower Shop in Middleburgh.  His late father, Dick Hanson, served as Schoharie County Chair prior to his untimely death.  Bill, married to Jo Ann, became actively involved in the mid-nineties as he saw first hand the waste of tax-payer dollars.  Like most political chairmen, his desire to help people has drawn him into an active political role in the Conservative Party.

State Chairman, Michael R. Long, welcomed both men and looks forward to renewed interest in conservative candidates in Madison and Schoharie Counties with the new interim chairmen.  “Both gentlemen, Mr. Mulhall and Mr. Hanson, bring a strong conservative philosophy to their stewardship which proves New York State, while consider bluer than blue, maintains areas as red as America’s heartland,” Long concluded.
