Conservatives Testify on Governor's Scheme Party
to Give Illegal Aliens Driver's Licenses

Ft. Hamilton Station, NYState Chairman, Michael R. Long announced that the Conservative Party testified at today's Public Hearing on the Governor's proposal to issue driver's licenses to illegal aliens.

Chairman Long reminded Governor Spitzer of the commitment he made to all New Yorkers when he took his oath of office as Governor and previously as the state's Attorney General to uphold the United States Constitution and the New York State Constitution.

"Governor Eliot Spitzer spoke of how important it is to 'play by the rules' on November 7, 2006," Long said.
"Today we are taking the opportunity to remind the Governor that 'playing by the rules' means not rewarding illegal behavior with a driver's license; playing by the rules means respecting the laws of the nation and state you choose to live in," Long concluded.

A copy of the testimony presented by Executive Director, Shaun Marie Levine, is available on-line at the Party's website: http://www.cpnys.org.
