Dear American Solutions' Day Host,

We will launch our Solutions Day activities in just a little more than 48 hours on Thursday, September 27. I'm writing to you today because you've signed up to host a Solutions Day workshop in your community on Saturday, September 29th, and I'd like to make sure everyone is ready for the big day!

If you have received this note in error, or no longer plan to host a workshop, please let me know as soon as possible. My email is nancyb@americansolutions.com. We are updating our databases as quickly as possible.

Here’s a quick review of the upcoming Solutions Day activities – you’ll find more details by visiting our website, www.AmericanSolutions.com.

Newt Gingrich will begin Solutions Day on the evening of Thursday, September 27— the 13th anniversary of the "Contract with America" – with an opening presentation at the Cobb Galleria. You can view Newt's opening remarks via webcast live at www.AmericanSolutions.com, or on satellite television (the DISH Network’s channel 219 or DIRECT TV’s channel 577) at 7:00 p.m. (EDT).

On Saturday, September 29th, Newt will begin the day with an address at 1 p.m. (EDT) from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA. I would recommend that you plan to have your guests arrive by 12:30 p.m. (EDT), and make sure you do a test drive of your technical needs prior to the event.

Workshops will begin at 1:30 p.m. (EDT) and continue through 5:30 p.m. (EDT). You, as a host, will lead your group's participation via live online webcast, or by tuning into the DISH Network on channel 219 or DIRECT TV’s channel 577. We are offering 21 substantive workshops with exciting presenters that day. You and your guests may choose from one of five to seven different workshops offered each hour.

I’ve attached an updated “Action Pack” that will answer your questions and give you more detailed instructions about the day’s activities. I’ve also attached the latest list of workshop topics and hosts that you may choose to watch (I am sending you the schedule in EDT -- please revise to your specific time zone.)

If you subscribe to DIRECT TV or to the DISH network, here’s a list of those workshops that will be broadcast on Saturday (I recommend that you TIVO or record these workshops for future use):

      *  1:30 to 2:30 EDT "Enforcement First in the Illegal Immigration Debate"

      *  2:45 to 3:45 EDT "Saving Social Security for our Children & Grandchildren"

As a Solutions Day Host, you now have the opportunity to go online and manage the specific details about your workshop. You can also use our invitation tool to invite people to attend, and respond to those who have asked to attend your workshop.

If you haven’t already created an account on AmericanSolutions.com, please do so. This will make it possible for you to manage your workshop online.

After logging into your account, click on the “Organize” link or go to http://www.AmericanSolutions.com/Workshop/ 

· From there you can create a workshop in your community by clicking on the link “Create Workshops.” (Since you’ve already signed up to be a host you should already have a workshop created.)

· You should see your workshop under the “Manage Workshops” link - this may take a few moments to appear.

· Once your workshop appears, click on it, and from there you will be able to view and edit your workshop details as well as invite people to your workshop

· If your workshop doesn’t appear you can try looking it up by zip code. If it still doesn’t appear this means you need to create a workshop.
